The Approach to Medical Acupuncture

Many conditions can be treated with acupuncture:

neck and low back pain
chronic injuries
headaches
infertility
fatigue

Dr. Hauty begins treatment after reviewing the patient's medical history and conducting a 30 minute initial exam. Follow up visits are scheduled in 20, 40, or 60 minute blocks.

It is recommended that loose, comfortable clothing (sweats or gym clothes are best) are worn for the patient's appointment. It is also best to arrive with an empty stomach and bladder. There is no problem driving after a treatment.

Sterile, single use disposable needles are always used and properly disposed of. Skin preparation and local anesthetics are not necessary.
